Riding high in the career of 12 years much sought after actress of South India Trisha Krishnan for her debut film in Kannada Power ***' with power star Puneeth Rajakumar addressed the Bangalore film media for the first time on the eve of release of the film.
Trisha looking comfortable in her career said for my debut in any language the commercial venture and its content is very important. In Tamil and Telugu I had good debut as heroine and I was expecting the same in Kannada. That is this Power ***' with Puneeth Rajakumar. That does not mean I am not interested in offbeat films. Given a terrific role to perform after good commercial entry I take it up says the pretty actress.
At Sri Renukamba digital theatre in 18th cross Malleswaram Trisha was surrounded by television media and she first spoke at the formal media address and then to the print and internet media. Outside the preview theatre there were a dozen television channel cameras waiting for a chat with this pride of South India actress Trisha.
Answering a few questions from the media Trisha disclosed that the delay in making debut in Kannada was not intentional. For the audio release of Power ***' I tried to adjust dates but finally I missed a big audio release event. In this film the role I play connect to everyone. Only after signing the movie of Dookudu' remake in Kannada, I watched the movie pointed Trisha.
On her upcoming film with Ajith another super star she is quite happy. She intends to take action movie and a historical film in the coming years. As of now I have done only 20 percent of variety of roles. There are many more to come she replied.
In doing a hit remake film there will be minimum risk but at the end of the day it is audience who give results. Working in Kannada film of hit combination of director Madesh and Puneeth Rajakumar was extremely good experience. Puneeth Rajakumar hailing from a very big family of films is so simple, knows what he can do and he is with great potential. No filmy feel on sets, very casual, intelligent and what I could say is that he is best co star I have seen mentioned Trisha.
As the expectations are huge I am scared with this debut Kannada release. Now the songs of Power ***' is good in the market, half the battle is won says Trisha. I did not feel a new atmosphere at work for Kannada as Tamil was spoken on the sets. Bangalore is second home to me. It is four hours drive from Chennai stated the sizzler on silver screen.
