On Wednesday, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan had received a death threat. A letter threatening to kill Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan was received by AA Rahim, state secretary of the DYFI, the youth wing of the CPI(M).

The letter says that Rahim and CM will be killed if they continue to criticize organizations like SDPI and Popular Front of India. Reportedly, the letter uses abusive language against Rahim as well as the Chief Minister.

The letter was received on March 3, and Rahim has filed a complaint at the police stating that his life is in danger. City Police commissioner Balram Kumar Upadhyay said the letter has been sent to the museum police station for necessary action and inquiry.
