You thought anxiety disorders never disturbed huge stars who seem to be leading comfortable happy lives? Then sorry to say but you’re wrong. After Rock the Dwayne Johnson’s latest revelation about his depression, ‘Deadpool’ star Ryan Reynolds has opened up about his problem with anxiety.
In a recent interview, Ryan has admitted that he has had always anxiety, like before appearing on a TV Show. It is said that he even appears in costume for ‘Deadpool’ promotions to alleviate his anxiety. Reportedly he uses a meditation app to stay calm during tough situations.
“When the curtain opens, I turn on this knucklehead, and he kind of takes over and goes away again once I walk off set. That’s that great self-defense mechanism. I figure if you’re going to jump off a cliff, you might as well fly,”he said.
To know that even stars of this magnitude do experience issues like this, the lesson to take home is that no matter what, it is okay for men to come out and share their problems with beloved ones as there is a societal conditioning for men to remain stoic and unaffected when they are vulnerable.
