Earlier we had it how the water played a spoil sport over Katrina Kaif’s saree during the rain song’s shoots. Now, looks like we can amuse over that song only in the theatres.

Ratan Jain’s forthcoming comedy film, ‘De Dana Dan’, carries a sizzling rain song “Gale Lag Ja” that features Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif. However, the promos present only “Paisa Paisa” and “Baamulaiza” songs. It is because Akshay was not in favour of using the rain song to promote the movie, according to sources. He said that the hot song is good, but it is definitely not in sync with the theme of the film. Even producer Ratan Jain shares a similar opinion and justified, “De Dana Dan is a comedy, it has 26 artistes, and I personally think that the songs playing on TV do more justice to the ensemble cast, than the wet song can.”

Meanwhile, this song was a first-time experience for our Kat while shooting. “It is the quintessential wet song that every Bollywood heroine does at some point. I’m excited about it because for the first time in so many years, I was able to match Akshay’s energy levels,” gushed Katrina.

In “Gale Lag Ja” Kat is featured in chiffon sarees and sexy designer blouses while our hero is dressed in shirts. During the shoots, Katrina’s sarees had shrunk till Kat’s knees due to prolong stay in the water.
