It is known that Puri's DCM has socio-fantasy elements interlaced into the narrative. Brahmi and Kovai Sarala are playing Vishnu and Lakshmi (deities) in the movie. However, the fantasy elements are not regular, says BVSN Prasad.

He says that Puri's statement that DCM has got no story should not be taken to mean literally. "There is an invisible story in the film. Though there is no relation whatever between men and god, there is a story involving them. This is the most exciting part," he reveals.

Coming to the story, Ravi Teja, who is a land –settler, happens to meet Illeana, an orphan and a taxi driver, in Bangkok. They both fall in love. Prakash Raj is playing a character with two shades.
