Shortly after Dwayne Johnson announced the delay of Black Adam and DC League of Super-Pets Warner Bros. has done some calendar shuffling and looks like fans will have to wait a little longer to watch Jason Momoa return as Aquaman.
The Flash which was slated for a release this year will now come out in June 2023. Aquaman 2 has been moved from its Dec. 16, 2022, date to March 17, 2023, while Ezra Miller's Flash solo film was pushed from Nov. 4, 2022, to June 23, 2023. The one bright spot for DCEU fans is that Shazam! Fury of the Gods has been moved up from its original June 2, 2023, date to Dec. 12, 2022. Dwayne Johson who is set to make his superhero debut with Black Adam also took to his Instagram account to personally inform his fans of the film's new release date which is now October 2022.
Finally, in non-superhero news, Warner Bros. announced that it is moving Timothée Chalamet’s Wonka back by nine months, from March 17, 2023, to Dec. 15, 2023. The studio also announced an official date for The Meg 2, the sequel to the giant-shark film that became a surprise box-office success. The Meg 2 will arrive on Aug. 4, 2023.
