Indiaglitz had already updated you that Robert Pattinson starrer 'THE BATMAN' trailer was debuted at the CinemCon 2021. Now, the latest news is that the main trailer has been dropped online for the fans in DC FanDome 2021 following the first teaser trailer debut in DC FanDome 2020.
THE BATMAN is the Matt Reeves-directed comic book film, which stars Robert Pattinson as the Dark Knight. The film also includes Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon and Andy Serkis as Alfred, and villains such as Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Colin Farrell as The Penguin and Paul Dano as The Riddler. The trailer proves to us that this might be the darkest batman film ever made by DC and Warner Bros.
Reeves was partially inspired by Batman: Year One, the seminal work of writer Frank Miller. The director bills this not as an origin story but it is the Dark Knight in his early days, filled with rage. We've had Batman with anger issues in comic books and DC's animated titles, but this is the first live-action cinematic adaptation. It is befitting to say that this is the best Batman trailer we've ever seen and one of the best trailer cuts of all time.
The 3-minute-long promo displays an intimate approach to the DC Comics icon with dark, grungy, and beautiful footage. The ominous BGM by Michael Giacchino sends chills down the spine. The shot in which the Batman walks through the raining bullets in a dark room is one of the highlights of the video. Also, the trailer ends with a high note as we see an upside-down shot of the Caped Crusader walking past an explosion towards the Penguin stuck in the car.
Yesterday (October 16), the makers unveiled the main trailer of the film in four different languages. THE BATMAN is scheduled to come out in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu in India on March 4, 2022. The video gives a glimpse at Paul Dano's The Riddler, although the character's face was kept hidden. Riddler is one of the best supervillains in DC's comics and games, it is high time that fans witness a relentless live-action version.
Robert Pattinson is exhilarating as a Batman who "doesn't have as much control over his personality." He says, "Its not just a signal, its a Warning," when the Bat-Signal appears on the screen. We see him uttering the Caped Crusader's iconic line, "I'm vengeance." Zoe Kravitz is seen as Kelina Syle aka Cat Woman alongside Batman. Matt Reeves' THE BATMAN will be an extravagantly violent iteration of the masked vigilante.
