Day 1 score: 39,231 passengers travel in India's 532 flights

Domestic air travel resumed its operations today (Monday). But for Andhra Pradesh and West Bengal, air travel is back in operation, with riders, across India.
Updating the public, Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri today said, "From no domestic passenger flights yesterday to 532 flights and 39,231 passengers today, action has returned to Indian skies. With Andhra Pradesh set to resume operations from tomorrow and West Bengal from 28 May, these numbers are all set to increase further."
Airports Authority of India said that all precautionary measures were taken for ensuring social distancing at airports. Safe handling of pax with the cooperation of all airport agencies and the state health departments was ensured, it added.
As for quarantine rules, different States have notified different rules. Travellers are advised to check State-specific rules to avoid confusion.
