Dawood Ibrahim has reportedly breathed his last due to Covid-19. An Indian news channel has claimed that its sources have informed it about the underworld don's death.

Apparently, not many are ready to take this piece of seemingly unverified news at face value. It's because Dawood has died quite a few times before. For example, someone 'killed' the most-wanted fugitive a few years ago by reporting that he had died due to AIDS. Yet another report once said that he succumbed to gangrene that became fatal!

And, in keeping with the flavour of the season, it is now Covid-19 that is the rumoured cause of the terrorist's demise.

In view of the unreliability of the news, many on Twitter are joking about it. "Just as Shahid Afridi used to retire so many times, Dawood has died too many times," a Twitter user said. Another user quipped that the only person who has 'died' more number of times than Dawood is Undertaker. "How many times is Dawood going to come back alive?" the user asked.
