The two biggest release we are waiting for now is Kamal Haasan's "Vishwaroopam" and Mani Ratnam's "Kadal". They are both to be released on the 25th of January and the 1st of February respectively.

Sources said, "In all probability Kadal will release this February 1st." The team of Mani Ratnam, AR Rahman and Rajiv Menon is enough to make anyone get to the edge of their seat in anticipation and "Kadal" is just that. News say that Mani Ratnam's former assistant, Bejoy Nambiar, might be releasing his Vikram and Jiiva starrer "David" on the same day too.

This might not be a good idea since "Vishwaroopam" and "Kadal" are already competing and taking up all the screens and releasing "David" now might effect badly on the film. Even the fans would prefer it coming much later, because that is another big movie that needs all the attention too. The "David" team hasn't announced anything officially yet and we wait to see what decision they make.
