In a shocking turn of events, the daughter of the 76-year-old man from Kalaburagi in Karnataka, who was first person to die of coronavirus in India has tested positive for coronavirus. This was confirmed by Karnataka health commissioner Pankaj Pandey.

Pankaj Pandey has said that the result of the 76 year old man's daughter was received and was found positive for Covid-19. The woman has been admitted in the Kalaburagi district hospital and it has been said that her health condition is stable. Blood samples of three others who were in contact with the 76 year old man were also tested and their results turned negative.

The 76-year-old man had returned after a month long pilgrimage trip from Saudi Arabia, and after his death, it was found that he tested positive for Covid-19. After his death, the Health officials in Kalaburagi region traced the persons who were in contact with him before and after he displayed signs of the infection. With his daughter already being given treatment, it has been said that she will recover soon.
