Festival seasons never fail to offer a delightful treat to movie enthusiasts, and this Dasara proved to be no exception. Leading stars graced the box office with their much-anticipated releases, providing a lavish cinematic feast. Natasimha Balakrishna presented 'Bhagavanth Kesari,' Thalapathy Vijay starred in 'LEO,' and Mass Raja Ravi Teja took on the role of 'Tiger Nageswara Rao,' collectively delivering a massive entertainment extravaganza.
Balakrishna's 'Bhagavanth Kesari,' focusing solely on the Telugu audience, featured an ensemble cast including Sree Leela, Kajal, and Arjun Rampal, under the adept direction of Anil Ravipudi. 'LEO,' starring Vijay, Sanjay Dutt, Gautham Menon, Trisha, and Arjun Sarja, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj known for his unique cinematic universe, captivated viewers in multiple languages across the nation. Meanwhile, 'Tiger Nageswara Rao,' inspired by real-life incidents, showcased Ravi Teja alongside Anupam Kher and Nupur Sanon, helmed by director Vamsee.
After a marathon of viewing all three films, movie lovers and critics have begun weighing in on the Dasara winner. 'Bhagavanth Kesari,' with its empowering message on women, girl's upbringing, and their journey to strength, received praise. Despite a few minor hiccups and a more subdued heroism, Balakrishna's impressive transformation, relatable character, and Telangana accent earned unanimous acclaim.
In contrast, Thalapathy Vijay's 'LEO,' despite a riveting first half and exhilarating action sequences, faced disappointment in the latter part. While Lokesh Kanagaraj's cinematic universe was anticipated with excitement, it somewhat detracted from the overall impact of the film.
Ravi Teja's 'Tiger Nageswara Rao,' a biographical exploration of the feared dacoit from Stuartpuram in the 1970s, showcased a dedicated performance. However, the movie was weighed down by a sluggish narrative and the absence of thrilling elements, causing some of the hard work to go unnoticed.
What ever may be the result, movie lovers are thoroughly enjoying all the three films as they are from different genre.
