Daruvu team faces Telangana 'daruvu'

  • IndiaGlitz, [Wednesday,February 22 2012]

A 'Mass Maharaja' film has faced the sound of Telanganavadis one more time. The shooting of Daruvu, taking place at a private hospital in the Tarnaka area (Hyderabad) was forcibly stopped by a cabal of agitators, who stormed the location and destroyed a spot light. Following which the makers of 'Sound of Mass' had to leave the spot.

That the area is abutted by Osmania University was the reason why the protestors came to know about the shoot and easily reached the location. No kerfuffle has been reported. Since the venue was a hospital, the brouhaha was at its minimum, reports indicate.

This is a one-off event reported in a long time. It is known that the films of many big stars were disrupted in the past.
