In his next film 'Toofan', Farhan Akhtar will be seen essaying the role of a boxer. To give realism to the film, he had to train and shoot fight sequences with actual boxers. Actor Darshan Kumaar, known for Mary Kom and NH10 will portray the villain in 'Toofan'. He revealed that the set of the film was crowded by real national level boxers so there wasn't room for acting and they had to punch each other for real.
Here's what Darshan said about playing the villain, "I had to just think that what my character is doing is right. In his story, he is a hero. The audience will watch the film and feel that my character is the antagonist but I am not allowed to feel so while playing the part. I had to play the part like it’s second nature for me to behave like that.”
Directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, the film has been in production for quite a while now.
