Challenging star Darshan is freed from all legal hassles. He was given clean chit by the court on Monday in the case of beating his wife Vijayalakshmi.

The first ACMM court on Monday taking in to account the proof provided by Smt Vijayalakshmi Darshan and claiming that there was no assault on her the clean chit has been passed by justice Venkatesh Halagi. On February 15, Smt Vijayalakshmi, her mother and car driver Lakshman gave the statements. Before that a meeting of Darshan and his wife was also held.

The court has given 30 days time for the Vijayanagara police station where the case was filed to raise any objections. The police are now returning the pistol of Darshan on the advice of the court.

The incident happened on September 8, 2011 was accidental. The lit cigarette touched my hand accidentally and my hand was injured when the car door got closed suddenly stated Smt Vijayalakshmi. These two incidents were not seen by either Lakshman car driver or mother of Smt Vijayalakshmi Smt Sumathi.

With this challenging star Darshan is completed set free of all charges.
