'Mithai', the dark comedy starring Priyadarshi and Rahul Ramakrishna, and directed by Prashant Kumar, is all set to hit the screens on February 22.

'Arjun Reddy' director Sandeep Reddy Vanga announced the release date. The much-acclaimed director, a good friend and an inspiration to 'Mithai' director Prashant Kumar, said, "It gives me immense happiness to announce the release date of MITHAI. Cheers bud you did it and we are all proud of you. Welcome to TFI."

Debutant director Prashant Kumar can't be happier. "Nothing gives me as much pleasure as the guy who inspired you to make movie announces the release date. If there was no Sandeep, there was no 'Mithai' and most important, I would not have explored myself. Thanks for everything bud. Cheers. I am now okay not pretty far from it," he said.

The film also features a stellar supporting cast that includes Ravi Varma, Kamal Kamaraju, Bhushan Kalyan, Ajay Ghosh and Swetaa Varma among others.

'Mithai' is produced by Red Ants Cinema and Dr. Prabhat Kumar, and co-funded by Flixelloid Cinema, the overseas distribution partner of Mithai.
