Global Star Ram Charan's recent visit to Kadapa Dargah sparked outrage among a section of Hindus, who opposed his visit to the Dargah while wearing the Ayyappa Mala. Some people criticized Charan for entering the Dargah during his Ayyappa Deeksha and claimed that this act hurt religious sentiments.
Meanwhile, spiritual guru Radha Manohar Das defended Ram Charan's actions and called these allegations an act by caste fanatics. He stated that caste is not superior to religion and urged people not to destroy the purity of Hinduism in the name of caste.
He said that if people are upset with Ram Charan's actions and believe they are wrong, they should approach him and convey their concerns formally instead of criticizing him openly.
"Ram Charan is a profound devotee. He visits a Shiva temple and cleans it. He also named his daughter Klin Kaara, which is derived from the Lalitha Sahasranamam. He even carried Lord Rama's idol while promoting RRR in foreign countries," he said.
Charan visited the Dargah as per a promise made to music director AR Rahman. He was accompanied by director Buchi Babu Sana, who is making his next film with Charan.
