Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Darbar' directed by A.R. Murugadoss which hit the screens on Thursday has taken a big opening at the box office worldwide and is expected become a blockbuster after seeing houseful shows for the Pongal holiday week. Lyca Productions have meanwhile released a statement that a controversial dialogue scene from the film has been removed.
In a scene, there is a dialogue that prisoners can freely go out shopping and come back and many among the audiences construed that it was a reference to former Chief Minister Jayalalitha's friend and ADMK leader Sasikala Natarajan who is in Bengaluru prison. Lyca has clarified that the dialogue was just for entertainment purpose but since it hurt someone it has been decided to remove it from the film.
'Darbar' has Superstar Rajinikanth and Nayanthara as the lead pair with Nivetha Thomas, Yogi Babu and Sunil Shetty in important roles. Music score is by Anirudh and audiences are seen rejoicing in the theaters for the songs and the bgm.
