Superstar Rajnikanth, Nayanthara starrer Darbar directed by AR Murugadoss is set to release worldwide on January 9, and this movie has music by Anirudh after Petta. With days left for the release, Anirudh has faced an accusation from the music directors union.

Recently, music director Dhina who is the leader of music directors union met the press, and said that whenever a music director composes music for a Tamil movie, there is a rule that they should make use of Tamil musicians for the recording and background music works, and it was said to Anirudh as well.

However, even after being informed of this, Anirudh has made use of non Tamil musicians for the music of Darbar, and this is saddening. If people from Tamil Nadu are not given opportunities in Tamil films, what will be their condition? Music directors like Anirudh must think of their situation, said Dhina, who also said a complaint will be made against Anirudh in FEFSI.
