Actress Shriya Saran has been one of the popular artists in the south film industry and has acted in many movies in Tamil and Telugu. She has paired with almost all top stars of south including Superstar Rajnikanth, Megastar Chiranjeevi and has also acted in few Hindi movies.

Shriya was last seen in Tamil in Simbu starrer Anbanavan Asarathavan Adangathavan, and had last year got married to her Russian boyfriend, entrepreneur Andrei Korshcheev. Recently a photo of Shriya with Superstar Rajnikanth, director AR Murugadoss and stunt master Peter Hein turned viral.

It was rumoured that Shriya might be seen in Darbar in a special appearance, but it has been said that Shriya made a casual visit to the sets and is not a part of the movie. Shriya had earlier paired with Superstar Rajnikanth in Shankar's Sivaji, where incidentally Darbar heroine Nayanthara danced for a special song.
