A recent despicable remark made by a self-proclaimed filmmaker, called Daniel Shravan, where he has suggested that women must "co-operate with rapists and carry condoms" in order to avoid being murdered, has invited the wrath of people.

The comment comes less than a week after the brutal rape and murder of 26-year-old Priyanka Reddy, whose charred body was found on the Hyderabad-Bengaluru National Highway. In the now-deleted Facebook post, Daniel Shravan has suggested that instead of dialing the police or calling for help, women must co-operate with the rapist, adding that the government must "legalize rape without violence scheme." His atrocious entry further states that if the sexual desire of men is fulfilled, they would have no reason to kill the women. "Better Women should accept Men's sex," he ends.

Famous singer Chinmayi Sripaada took to her Twitter handle to share the screenshots of Shravan's Facebook post along with a caption that read, "Ideas going around. Some of this content is in Telugu. Basically the ideas these men have given is - cooperate and offer condoms to prevent murder after rape, women’s organizations are the reason for rape. Rape is not heinous, murder is." She has shared another screenshot where the same man has apparently replied to another user in Telugu, "Sick of these women's drama. Will they rape if they accept our proposal? Point is if women say no to deviants like him, rape is the only option for "Adamant bitches."

Several social media users have mentioned that Daniel Shravan must immediately consult a psychiatrist.
