Dangal girls join the cast of Vicky Kaushal's 'Sam Bahadur'

Dangal girls Fatima Sana Sheikh and Sanya Malhotra are going to reunite for the first time after 'Dangal' on an exciting upcoming project. The duo have been roped in to play pivotal characters in Vicky Kaushal's 'Sam Bahadur'. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, 'Sam Bahadur' will be based on the extraordinary life and exploits of India's first Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw and Vicky is going to play the titular role in it.
Sanya has been cast in the role of Field Marshal's wife, Silloo Manekshaw while Fatima Sana Sheikh will portray the former Prime Minister Smt Indira Gandhi in the movie. Sanya shared a picture with Vicky, Fatima and Meghna and wrote, "Behind every successful man is a strong independent woman who supports him in all his endeavours. It's with great honour that I get to play one such woman, Silloo Manekshaw, the wife of India's first Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. Cannot wait to begin this journey with Meghna ma'am, Vicky, Fatima and RSVP movies!”
Fatima also shared the same picture and wrote, “A woman who defines courage, power and dignity! It's with great pride that I am joining the team of Sam Bahadur to depict the role of India's first female Prime Minister Smt. Indira Gandhi. Looking forward to beginning this journey with Meghna ma'am, Vicky, Sanya & RSVP Movies.”
Apparently, both the actresses are super excited for the project and so are we to find out how this much anticipated movie turns out.
