The actress said that the verse is from the Quran.

Soon after the tweet, a flurry of tweets made a wasted attempt to educate her. Many Twitter users urged her to overcome her bigotry and hatred. Some shamed her for ditching cosmopolitanism and compassion and embracing irrational and hate-filled thinking.

Last year, Zaira said in a Facebook post that she would be quitting the film industry for religious reasons. 'The Sky Is Pink', starring Priyanka Chopra, is her last movie.
