Director Srinivas Reddy says that ever since the trailer of Damarukam was released, the craze around the film has only increased among distributors. "I am confident that it is going to be the year’s biggest commercial hit. The graphics have are extraordinary. The audio has been a sensational hit. Devi Sri Prasad is coming out with RR of the best kind", he further says.

Dr. Venkat echoes the same sentiment. He is gung-ho about the fact that audiences are waiting with greater curiosity now after watching the film's theatrical trailer. "The film will be remembered for long. There was never a film like this on the Indian screen."

RR Movie Makers has confirmed that the film will hit the screens on Oct 11. A Triple Platinum Disc function is expected before that.
