It is very rare to find the mythological cinemas off late. This one from young and intelligent Sidde Gowda Daksha Yagna` is all set for release on 20th of this month in over 50 plus theatres. In Jeevitha Creations with new talent and rare script Daksha Yagna` has consumed Rs.2 crores of rupees. This is a film on insult meted out to Lord Shiva and the proceedings thereafter. It is Sati wife of Shiva attending this Yagna performed by her father Daksha. When insulted by her own father she is unable to bear the insult and immolate herself.
Daksha Yagna` has some message for the current social life although it is a mythological film. The dialogues are written in common man language. The Broona Hatye` is also focused in this film. Six songs, 3 Kanda Padya and 2 shlokas are part of Arohna Mysuru music. The film has 30 minutes graphics in 2 hours and five minutes duration.
For Daksha Yagna it is three years preparation. The Janapada, Yakshagana and Historical significance is attached to this film. The narration and dialogue is fit even for the present generation. This film has 23 minutes of graphic presentation in the film. Somu an agriculturist and stage actor is playing the role of Daksha`, Niranjan another theatre personality is in Lord Shiva role.
Producers Shivu BS and Nataraju, co directors Raghu K, M Dayanand, cameraman Ramu Narahalli, music director Sharat Arohana, art director Prakash Chikkapalya.
Somu, Neharika, Priyanka, Shwetha, Shiva, Niranjan, Sachin, Satish Ponnayya, Nagendra Prasad are in the cast of his film.
