‘Dada’ First Look: Rajkummar Rao as Sourav Ganguly

The makers of Dada – The Sourav Ganguly Story have unveiled the much-awaited first-look poster featuring Rajkummar Rao as legendary Indian cricketer Sourav Ganguly. Released on the occasion of Ganguly’s birthday, the poster has made the celebration even more special for cricket fans across the globe.

Along with the first look, the team also announced that the biographical sports drama will hit theatres worldwide on May 14, 2027, during an extended holiday weekend.

The striking poster recreates one of the most iconic moments in Indian cricket history—Sourav Ganguly waving his jersey from the Lord’s Cricket Ground balcony after India’s memorable NatWest Trophy triumph over England in 2002. The celebration became a defining symbol of Ganguly’s fearless leadership, marking the beginning of a bold new era for Indian cricket and inspiring millions of fans.
