The star-kid who won National award for her very first film is Keerthana Parthiban. She is not that little girl we saw in ‘Kannathil Muthamittaal’ now! Here are few excerpts from her chat with IndiaGlitz. She made the talk more interesting by revealing her dad’s other side and other titbits. Come all… let’s have a look at it.

“That Rettaival Sundari character in ‘Kannathil Muthamittaal’ became my dad’s favourite. He most normally calls me Sundari,” started Keerthana with a wide smile.

In fact we were glad to know about the dad side of Parthiban, “I must call my dad as ‘amma’. He does every work from taking care of us to the kitchen works. For my dad I am still a baby. He never let’s me out of his sight, I have learnt a lot by being with him all the time.”

“Dad is very creative and never ignores anything small or big. He tries his hand out in everything and comes out with good results. He has always given me surprise when he tries something new. Anyways, you will know about his new effort in his upcoming film ‘Vithagan’.”

“I love my dad’s poems very much. Whenever you ask him for a poem, he is ready to give it. My dad’s artistic thought never dries off,” She explained happily.

We then moved on to her music class, “Oh yeah, I’m doing my music course in Rahman Sir’s music school. And the very interesting thing is my dad is very happy about my interest in music. Because, it is the only thing my dad can’t try even if he loves it very much. He normally says that noting else can keep a person happy than a good music,” Keerthana revealed.

“Sometime ago I was all of a sudden worried about death and life after death. I used to get upset whenever I think about it. But my dad made my thoughts clear by saying that loneliness is the thing that will give such problems. So he advised me to keep myself busy with small and big things around me. I am my dad’s girl!” she says beaming.
