Dad is impressed

Veteran actor Ravichandran is these days a busy man.
He is rounding off his maiden directorial venture Mandiran starring his son Hamsavardhan in the lead role.
The former glamour hero has no qualms about taking to direction to save his son's career.
'It is an attempt to take my son to a different league in Tamil cinema. Though he is a familiar face to the film buffs, I am sure my Mandhiran would take him to further heights in filmdom'.
On the movie, Ravichandran says, 'Mandhiran is an action movie and Hamsavardhan appears in different make-ups.'
And more than the dad, it is the director in Ravichandran who is impressed.
'As a director I was amazed by the sincerity and dedication shown by Hamsavardhan.'
Hope the audiences too echo his feeling.
