Giving final touches to his home production Parijatham is director Bhagyaraj. The film the debut of Bhagyaraj's daughter Saranya.

Malayalam star Prithviraj plays the hero.

Elated at the way the movie has so far come out, Bhagyaraj says, 'My last venture Sokkathangam came almost a three years ago. Since then, I was thinking of beginning a new film. But for some reason, it didn't happen’.

But when Parijatham came along, Bhagyaraj jumped at it. As he himself says ‘it is special for me as I introduce my daughter on screen'.

Considered the master of screenplay, Bhagyaraj's films appeal to all sections of the audience.

Asked about Parijatham, the director says, 'It 's a love story. But would appeal not just to the youths but also to the family audience'.

Showering praises on his daughter, Bhagyaraj says, 'I took extra effort to teach the basics of acting to my daughter and made her feel at ease. Audience would expect a lot from my daughter and I sincerely feel she has delivered the goods'.

The dad is happy. So is the director.
