In yet another innovative move of sorts, Vishal Bharadwaj and Ekta Kapoor for 'Ek Thi Daayan' have launched a book called Daayan by the noted author, Ved Prakash Sharma. The latter is among the best-selling authors of Hindi fiction of all time. In fact, he is the only author to own his publishing company and has written over 150 successful novels to date.

Unlike routine coffee table books, Sharma's book will have real stories related to witches and supernatural powers. Apart from the stories, it will also provide a gist of the film.

Interestingly, in one of the episodes of tele-serial Ekk Thi Naayka, actress Shweta Tiwari's character is even shown reading a Ved Prakash novel about 'daayans'.

By associating with Ved Prakash Sharma, the film's makers have clearly hinted at the incredible mass appeal of this keenly anticipated film.

So before you get a ticket to ‘Ek Thi Daayan’, get a dose of thrill by just grabbing a copy of ‘Daayan’ that is said to be now available in stores or even railway platforms...
