Yash Raj Films` latest release 'Daawat-e-Ishq' garnered not only immense appreciation but also did good business in its first week. The first week`s total collection was Rs 20.43 crores. The buzz around the Aditya Roy Kapoor-Parineeti Chopra starrer led to a steady growth in the film`s collection. The film with multiple other releases opened at Rs 3.72 crore on Friday, collections on Saturday showed an upward growth with Rs 4.35 crore and there was a jump on Sunday with the film earning Rs 5.53 crore.

Monday`s collections were 2.03 crore, Tuesday was 1.84 crore, Wednesday was 1.66 crore and Thursday was 1.30 crore.

'Daawat-e-Ishq' will benefit from the positive word of mouth the film has garnered, along with the fresh pairing of Aditya and Parineeti.
