'Daawat-e-Ishq' turns to be filling in first week

Yash Raj Films' latest release 'Daawat-e-Ishq' garnered not only immense appreciation but also did good business in its first week. The first week's total collection was Rs 20.43 crores. The buzz around the Aditya Roy Kapoor-Parineeti Chopra starrer led to a steady growth in the film's collection. The film with multiple other releases opened at Rs 3.72 crore on Friday, collections on Saturday showed an upward growth with Rs 4.35 crore and there was a jump on Sunday with the film earning Rs 5.53 crore.

Monday's collections were 2.03 crore, Tuesday was 1.84 crore, Wednesday was 1.66 crore and Thursday was 1.30 crore.

'Daawat-e-Ishq' will benefit from the positive word of mouth the film has garnered, along with the fresh pairing of Aditya and Parineeti.
