Suresh Productions may be one of the strongest production houses in India but it too has taken a huge hit due to Coronavirus.
Speaking to senior journalist TS Sudhir, D Suresh Babu today said that his threatre business has suffered value deterioration. "My cinema theatre business is valued at about Rs 800 Cr but now what theatre owners across the country have is just their inventory," he reveals.
"PVR is valued at around Rs 10,000 Cr or Inox that is valued at Rs 5000 Cr has lost more than 50 per cent," he says.
Several projects that Suresh Productions was planning have come to a standstill before the pandemic. Venkatesh’s 'Naarappa', 'Crrush', remake of 'Dream Girl' and 'Sonu Ki Titu Ki Shaadi', projects with Kajal Aggarwal, Regina Cassandra, and Nivetha Thomas have been put off for now.
