D Imman's nostalgic picture with Priyanka Chopra from his debut - Thalapathy Vijay starrer ‘Thamizhan’!

Composer D Imman is one of the leading music directors of Kollywood and has worked with almost all top-tier heroes of the industry including Thalapathy Vijay, Thala Ajith, Chiyaan Vikram, Siva Karthikeyan, Vijay Sethupathi and many others.
The latest addition to Imman's prestigious work chart is our Superstar Rajinikanth. The popular composer is scoring music for Thalaivar Rajinikanth's upcoming rural entertainer 'Annaatthe'. Today, he has turned nostalgic about his Tamil debut movie ‘Thamizhan’ starring Vijay and Priyanka Chopra.
D Imman has posted an old photograph from the recording of the 'Ullathai Killathey' song. The picture featured famous Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas listening to Imman while he is explaining the song to her during the song recording. Kaviperarasu Vairamuthu penned the lyrics of this song.
Ullathai Killathey is a super hit song from the Thamizhan soundtrack that is sung by the lead pair of the movie, Thalapathy Vijay and Priyanka Chopra. An interesting fact is that Thamizhan is the debut film of Priyanka Chopra and Ullathai Killathey is the debut song of Priyanka as a playback singer.
The untold story behind the song is that Vijay listened to Priyanka singing a song casually in the sets of Thamizhan. Then, the south Indian superstar insisted Imman to rope in Priyanka Chopra Jonas as the female singer of this song. Thus, the lovely pair rendered their sweet voices in this song which elevated their chemistry in the music video.
