As the film is grabbing great attention from both audiences and critics alike, Nikhil Advanis D-Day seems to have impressed the Indian Censor Board as well.
Reports have it that the Board has issued the action-packed drama a U/A certificate after suggesting minor cuts. The decision was passed following a meeting with the Censor Board and the Revision Committee.?
The director, who is quite pleased with the Censor Boards decision, stated. "The Censor Board suggested minor cuts that do not disturb the sanctity of the film. The cuts primarily tone down certain violent portions of the film keeping in mind younger audiences. That was something that the Censor Board was particularly keen on and given that we specifically want to take this movie to the younger generation we were more than happy to accommodate the cuts. Overall, Im very happy with the Censor Board's decision."
