Cyclone Nivar: Rayalaseema, Nellore, Kadapa, etc. to see very heavy rains

Cyclone Nivar has been predicted to cause heavy rains in parts of Rayalaseema and Andhra Pradesh, not just in Tamil Mandu. As D-Day approaches, fresh weather forecasts suggest that much of Rayalaseema is going to witness incessant rains starting November 16.
A weatherman has said that, besides Seema, Nellore, Prakasam and Guntur are expected to receive very heavy rains. Kadapa, Nellore, Chittoor and eastern parts of Anantapur district are in for exception rains from Thursday morning onwards, he tweeted. The expert, tweeting as 'AP and TS Weatherman', added that severe flooding is likely over Rayalaseema and Nellore.
Not just the aforementioned regions, southern Telangana, including Hyderabad, is also likely to receive moderate to heavy rains from the outer bands of Cyclone Nivar from Friday noon.

Meanwhile, a number of localities in Chennai are reportedly inundated in water due to heavy downpour since Tuesday.
