Police discussing multiple sections to file case against Kamal

Kamal Hassan received flak when he said in his social page that people should refrain from using Nilavambu kashayam, a herbal concoction that is used in the treatment of dengue and which is distributed by the Government.
A complaint was filed against the actor in the Madurai High Court by a person named Devarajan, citing that Kamal was spreading false messages to the people. The high court said that a case may be filed against the actor if the police saw any merit in the criticism that Kamal spread misinformation.
Now reports are coming in that police along with the help of law experts are in talks over if a case should be filed against the actor. It is expected that details regarding the sections under which the actor would be booked will be out after the ongoing discussion between the cyber crime officials and law experts.
