The latest release of Actor Naga Chaitanya, "Custody," was unable to speak with both its Telugu and Tamil audience. Krithi Shetty plays the female lead in the movie, which is directed by Vikram Prabhu. The movie is set to stream on Amazon Prime Video on June 9, 2023. The bilingual movie in Telugu and Tamil will also be released in Kannada and Malayalam languages for wider accessibility.

The story plot revolves around Naga Chaitanya who plays as Shiva, a young constable who is given the dangerous task of conveying a notorious criminal named Raju (Arvind Swami) to the court in Bengaluru. To Shiva's surprise, Raju is a vital witness against a powerful senior minister, making both of them potential targets. Shiva must protect Raju on their perilous journey so that his testimony can be presented in court.

The movie was produced by Srinivasaa Silver Screen, and boasts a talented cast including Sarathkumar, Premji, Vennela Kishore, Sampath Raj Priyamani and Arvind Swami in significant roles. The music was composed by Ilaiyaraaja and Yuvan Shankar Raja.
