Curvaceous Anushka opposite Gopichand

The producer Nallamalupu Srinivas (Bujji) has signed Anushka to play the female lead opposite Gopichand in his film. Anushka, who was going through a lean patch off late, things started looking bright for her when the film ÂVikramarkuduÂ, hit the bullÂs eye at the box-office and the success of the film worked wonders for her career, which in turn led to her doing a special item number in Chiranjeevi starrer ÂStalinÂ.
The title of the film is ÂLakshyamÂ. Director of the film is a new face Srivas, who in the past worked as assistant to directors like Krishna Vamsi and Kashi Viswanath.
Music is by Ramana Gogula, who is rapidly turning out to be one of the busiest music directors in the Telugu film industry.
The regular shooting of the film will commence from November 2006.
