Pushpa 2 hit theaters and received an overwhelmingly positive response. There are so many highlights in the film but most of the fans are still left disappointed. The unit left some critical questions unanswered, sparking curiosity for the upcoming sequel.
One of the biggest talking points is the absence of a key scene teased in the promotional material. The movie was announced with the tagline Where Is Pushpa, accompanied by a glimpse that showed a wounded Pushpa escaping from Tirupati Jail. However, this pivotal scene was missing from Pushpa 2, leaving fans speculating whether it’s being saved for Pushpa 3.
The movie begins with an impactful hero introduction at a port in Japan, where Pushpa smuggles himself in a container to uncover details about his cargo. The sequence is well-crafted and gripping, yet several scenes from the trailer, including Pushpa’s confrontation in a Japanese restaurant and Jali Reddy's intense standoff with a gun, did not make it to the final cut.
Additionally, some threads, like why Pushpa wears a Shivamala or the tracks with Bhanwar Singh Shekawat, remain unexplored. While Pushpa 2 delivered on action and spectacle, some fans were divided over its ending. The emotional sequences following the Kota fight failed to resonate with everyone, and some felt the movie didn’t provide a strong enough lead into Pushpa 3.
Sukumar, however, cleverly left several unanswered questions to build anticipation.
For instance, two mysterious blasts occur during the climax and closing moments of the film. One involves Bhanwar Singh Shekawat, whose arc abruptly ends with an unresolved explosion, leaving viewers questioning what transpired. The other blast happens in the final moments, setting up a major twist for the sequel.
Fans now eagerly await Pushpa 3: The Rampage, where Sukumar promises to unravel these mysteries.
