Curfew extended with minimum relaxations! : all u need to know

Chief Minister M.K. Stalin announced the extension of the State-wide lockdown to curb the spread of COVID-19 by another week till June 14. But some of the conditions have been relaxed.
Grocery shops will be allowed to sell essentials from 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. in green areas, government offices are allowed to operate with 30% employees. Apart from the 11 districts which have been flagged red, auto rickshaws are now allowed to operate and passenger are expected to carry e- pass. Many relaxation like this have been made by the state government and will come into force from June 8.
Tamil Nadu has seen a significant decrease in its caseload. From reporting almost 36,000 cases per day previously, the number came down which is a relief to the state government. However, districts like Coimbatore, Chennai, Trichy, Erode, Tirupur and Salem are still recording more spreads every day.
Tamil Nadu went into lockdown on May 8 first. This was extended till June 7 and now it has been further extended to june 8. However, it was expected that the state would not open up completely as the Test Positivity Rate is still relatively high in many districts.
