'Cuckoo' is clean

Director Rajumurgan’s debut film Cuckoo whose trailer has garnered tremendous positive response has been certified with a clean U by the Censor officials. An official press release from makers of the film has confirmed this stating that the members of the Censor board who watched the film were mightily impressed with its content. The film is all set to release on 21st of March.

The film stars Dinesh of Attakathi fame and newcomer Malavika in the lead roles. The film has been directed by Rajumurgan who is a former journalist and the weekly column he wrote in the magazine he worked has already fetched a fan base leading to positive expectations towards his debut movie.

Music has been scored by Santhosh Narayanan whose songs were recently released and topping the charts.

Having acquired clean chit from the Censor board, the film is now eligible for Entertainment Tax exemption offered by Tamilnadu Government.
