CSK have won the two matches they played. Both times while chasing below par totals under 150 (70 and 147/6 against RCB and DC respectively ) ,In an unlike T20 mmanner.

Rajasthan on the other hand, Has lost in the process of chasing 184/4 by Kings XI Punjab at Jaipur and then lost to Sunrisers in a mission to defend 198/2 ,As the Hyderabad based franchise went on to win the match clinically, With an over left .

Interestingly, Both CSK and RR have fielded unchanged XIs so far, Eventhough a fourth overseas option remains to be tested by CSK. Even the replacement to Ngidi, Hasn't been named yet. 

As CSK have their base covered, It could be either Scott Kuggeleijn (NZ recruit, Replacement to Ngidi ) , Sam Billings or Mitchell Santner depending upon what kind of an option CSK would look to Field. David Willey has opted out of the IPL due to personal reasons
