13 members of CSK including bowler tests positive for COVID 19

The Chennai Super Kings team after a training camp in Chennai left to the UAE to take part in the IPL scheduled to commence from September 19th. In Dubai, the mandatory COVID 19 tests were conducted on the team and to the utter shock of all concerned thirteen members have tested positive.

Though there is no official word regarding who all are affected sources have revealed that Indian pacer Deepak Chahar is among the patients with most of the others being support staff. The quarantine period for the team has now been extended until September 1st.

This new development is a major setback for CSK as other teams have already begun preparations for the IPL tournament when sixty games will be played between the eight teams.
