Chennai Super Kings and former India captain MS Dhoni threw light on his future in the Indian Premier League as he mentioned during a live session on CSK's YouTube page that he wishes to play his last game of cricket in Chennai. He is also hopeful of meeting all of his fans and bid everyone goodbye.
Besides being considered one of the greatest captains in the world in the history of cricket, MS Dhoni is also a successful IPL captain, having led his team Chennai Super Kings to victory three times over the past several years. While there have been numerous speculations regarding Dhoni's retirement IPL, the skipper has hinted at playing another season for the CSK franchise as he revealed that he would hopefully play his last game of cricket in Chennai. Dhoni spoke about the same in a live session on CSK's YouTube page after a fan asked him about the significance of retiring from international cricket on August 15 and also expressed her disappointment over not being able to attend his final game.
In response to it, Dhoni said, "It can't be a better day than that - 15th August. When it comes to the farewell, you can always come and see me play for CSK and that can be my farewell game. You will still get that opportunity to bid me farewell. Hopefully we'll come to Chennai and will play my last game over there and I can meet all my fans."
