It has been announced that the Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni has tested negative for COVID-19. Dhoni will be arriving in Chennai for a one-week training camp today before the 2020 edition of Indian Premier League.
The 13th edition of Indian premier league will begin on September 19 in the UAE. Dhoni along with teammate Monu Kumar Singh underwent the mandatory Coronavirus test as it is an eligibility criteria to join the camp at a Ranchi hospital.
As per the Board of Control for Cricket in India's (BCCI) Standard Operating Procedure before traveling to the franchise's city of choice for having a training camp, the players have to undergo another round of testing after they reach Chennai.
