Director CS Amudhan, who had debuted with the hit spoof flick Thamizh Padam starring Mirchi Shiva, returned to screens last year, with the sequel to the movie, Thamizh Padam 2, which was again a success story at the box office, and the director's second movie Rendavathu Padam is yet to release.

Being an active social media user, the director regularly makes his views on politics, social issues and sports on a regular basis with his sarcasm laced posts on social media, and now, Amudhan has made a funny tweet referring to Ravindra Jadeja's inclusion in the Indian Cricket Worldcup team and Rishab Pant missing it.

Ravindra Jadeja had tweeted that he supports BJP, after his selection to the team, and quoting the tweet where PM Modi had congratulated him and tagging Rishabh Pant, CS Amudhan sarcastically tweeted "Ithu therinjurundhaa Naanum.." meaning if I had known this already, I would have, jokingly making a point that Rishabh would have made it to the team had he supported BJP. This tweet has been received well by fans.
