History repeats! Venkat Prabhu vs C.S. Amudhan

Venkat Prabhu has just announced that his next film which will be'VP9' that is, his ninth as a director will have Silambarasan in the lead role. This film will be produced by Suresh Kamatchi. Contrary to rumors that this film may be a sequel of 'Billa' or 'VTV', the director has confirmed that this will be a fresh script. The film will be a 2019 release.

Now its director C.S.Amudhan's time to start his game. Keen followers of social media and the film industry will know that the 'Tamizh Padam' director has been taking a friendly jibe at each and every big film and using it to promote his film. From US President Donald Trump to Big Boss 2 contestants to Thalapathy Vijay's new film. The smart and witty filmmaker uses everything in a smart way to promote his upcoming film 'Tamizh Padam 2.0'.

Now Amudhan does not seem to be ready to miss an opportunity to use another big film which has just been announced. He has retweeted director Venkat Prabhu's tweet announcing his next film with STR. By doing so he asked "Oru first look vitteengana vasathiya irukkm" (It will be helpful if you release the first look).

To this, Venkat Prabhu who is equally witty has promptly replied "  Eppadiyum unga release apparam thaan saar!! Hehehehe thank q Saar" ("The first look will come only after your film releases.  Thank you")

It must be noted that VP's 'Goa' and Amudhan's debut film 'Tamizh Padam' released on the same day in 2010. Back then. The two fun loving directors trolled all of us, by pretending to fight via their respective films promotions and later announcing that they are only close friends.
