In a cruel case of child abuse in Bengaluru a two-year-old boy was beaten and also sustained burn injuries after attacked by his grandmother. This incident took place in Sudduguntepalya, and the child's mother Hajira, had been to her maternal home in before a month.

Hajira and her husband Irfad have five children and  three of her sons stayed back with Irfad while she took the two-year-old boy with her to her mother's home. Hajira gave birth to another baby boy before 20 days and they were living with her mother Mubbashira. 

Yesterday, the two-year-old boy started crying for his father, and his grandmother Mubbashira started hitting the boy and burnt his face and body with matchsticks. To stop the child from crying, she taped the boy's mouth and hit him, as reported by police. After the child fell unconscious, Hajira called her husband Irshad, and rushed the boy to a hospital where he's undergoing treatment. Besides a complaint was filed and an FIR was registered against Mubbashira and Hajira under section 326 and section 23.
