The shooting of 'Okka Magaadu' directed and produced by YVS Choudary on the banner of Bommarilu with Balakrishna, Anushka and Nisha Kothari in the lead and Simran playing a special role was progressing in Rayalaseema area now.

It may be recalled here that the film had started shooting at Hyderabad and two songs had already been canned — one on Anushka and another on Nisha Kothari before leaving for outdoor shoot.

Balakrishna who already had good following in the region had attracted thousands of people there at the outdoor shoot, as the news of his arrival spread like wildfire.

The police struggled a lot to control the surging mobs. Moreover, in an interview with NDTV, Balakrishna also hinted at his entry into the politics in 2009.

This had forced the political leaders of various parties to meet the hero at the shooting spot. The canning of the song would continue till January 24. Manisharma gave tunes for the songs in the film.
